606,648. Adhesive coated paper. SHAND KYDD, Ltd., and NEUMANN, S. March 1, 1944, No. 3881. Divided out of 605,438. [Class 140] Pre-gummed paper suitable for use as wallpaper, poster papers, bill-board paper and remoistening tape is made by slightly wetting paper with water or aqueous adhesive paste such as ordinary starch paste then dusting a powdered cold water soluble adhesive over the wetting surface and drying. The powdered adhesive may be paste powder, soluble starch degradation products, glues, gums and may contain bentonite or calcium chloride. Specification 480,557 is referred to.
