[Class 38 (v)] In a thermal cut-out for electric boilers, and of the type wherein a spring-urged rod 6 is held by a pawl 14 engaging a ratchet-wheel 15 normally prevented from rotating by fusible material, the rod has a slot 12 engaging the operating lever 11 of a snap-action switch 9, which forms a complete unit secured to the frame by screws 8 and removable without disturbing the remainder of the parts.
