Abstract
603,957. Conductors for dynamo-electric machines. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., FRIEDLANDER, E., FORD, A. W., HOYLE, E. L., and REED, J. R. Nov. 7, 1945, No. 29669. [Class 35] The end windings of a high-voltage machine have a plurality of separate concentric conducting layers on the insulation near the slot ends, the layers being insulated from one another and the outer layer being connected to the core. In the form shown, a layer 7 of conducting paint is applied to the insulation 2 and mica tape of decreasing width with conducting patches 5 is then wound on the patches 5, being stepped towards the core side of the tape as shown. Specification 314,808, [Class 35], is referred to.
