[Class 38 (iv)] Variable-speed generators, with.-In a motor vehicle dynamo-battery system f, g having a charging indicator lamp i connected across the fuse h and cut-out contacts c, the circuit of the shunt winding a of the cut-out includes normally closed contacts d of an electromagnetic switch, the winding e of which is connected directly across the dynamo. Contacts d open due to high dynamo volts in the event of the fuse blowing, thereby ensuring that the cutout falls out and operates the lamp.
