599,105. Stays for hinged articles ; hinges. RICHARDS, O. O., and RICHARDS, O. L. Sept. 13, 1945, No. 23644. [Classes 65 (i) and 65 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] A perambulator hood or other stay comprises arms a, b having disc-shaped ends pivoted together by a rivet c. An arcuate slot d is formed in the disc on the arm a through which passes a bolt e having a square shank to prevent rotation therein. The bolt passes through an intermediate washer i and through the disc on the arm b, a thumb nut h clamping the discs together in an adjusted. position of the stays. A spring washer g may be placed under the head of the bolt and a cover-plate j may be secured to the discs by the rivet c. Specification 25028/05, [Class 65], is referred to.
