595,355. Daylight reflectors. JUNGERSEN, T. G. March 12, 1943, No. 4093. [Class 20(iii)] [Also in Groups VIII and XX] Sheet reflectors, formed with indentations of a depth not exceeding one-tenth of an inch to provide facets which reflect light from a given source in a predetermined single direction (see Group XX) may be situated, as shown at 65 in Fig. 15, at the base of a building in a narrow street to reflect light L from the sky across the street so as to reach an observer at S. The reflector comprises facets, Fig. 16, in the form of horizontally-extending flutings of saw-tooth section, filled in with a transparent refracting medium 66, the latter causing the reflected rays to take the path A, B instead of the less favourable direction A', B<1>.
