Abstract
593,048. Shower baths. DUCKERING, J. S. May 3, 1945, No. 11274. [Class 26] A spraying attachment and screen for baths comprises a water conduit bent into oblong formation mounted with its two longer sides 22 upstanding and its lower end behind and connected to the water supplies 14, 15 at one end of the bath 10, and having a branch reaching over the bath from its upper end and carrying a shower nozzle 26, and also having rotary spraying nozzles 28 in the uprights driven by the water pressure, means, e.g. a handle 20, whereby the water may be passed either into the oblong or directly into the bath 10, and a screen 29 of transparent non-brittle plastic material mounted on the edge around the end and parts of the sides of the bath and secured by brackets to the uprights 22. The screen 29 may have hinged flaps 40 and 41, its lower and upper ends being received in channels 31 and 33, the former secured by clips 32 to the bath, and the latter braced by a strut 34 ; it comprises two main sheets which abut or overlap, and which are slotted for adjustment relatively to securing brackets 35 carrying closure strips 39 to cover the slots 37.
