A shower bath unit comprises in combination a frame 1 consisting of rear, front and side members, brackets 4 on the member la to secure it to a wall 3 or other supporting surface adjacent to and above a bath 2, a pipe 5, secured to the member 1a projecting within the frame 1 and fitted with a rose 6 therein and also fitted with a water supply hose 8 having at its inlet end a junction piece 10, in which hot and cold water can mix, fitted with two flexible tubes 11 connected respectively to hot and cold water taps 9, the front and side members carrying rings with attached hooks for suspending one or more sliding curtains 13.
