591,030. Retractive switches. FIRST INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION. April 23, 1945, No. 10204. Convention date, Sept. 7, 1944. [Class 38 (v)] An actuating mechanism for a plungeroperated switch comprises an actuating arm 7 pivoted to a bracket 3 fixed to the switch housing 1, the arm 7 having a bendable part 16 for adjusting the actuating position of the arm 7 with relation to plunger 2. A moving element strikes a roller 11 on the arm 7, which transmits the movement through the member 16 and a compression spring 18 on a post 15 to the plunger 2 to actuate a micro-switch, such as that described in Specification 419,917. The spring 18 permits overtravel of the roller 11. A spring 12 normally biassed the arm 7 against a bendable rest 13.
