[Class 87 (i)] [Also in Group V] A plasterboard or slab consists of two plaster facings separated by ribs of fibreboard, wood wool or other heat or sound insulating material. The ribs may be replaced by a solid slab of insulating material, e.g., foamed slag. A modified form of plasterboard has one plaster facing only backed as before by ribs or by an insulating layer.
