Abstract

589,744. Constructional toys. NISSEL, G. March 29, 1945, No. 8029. [Class 132 (iii)] A constructional toy comprises an arm or the like having at each end and at opposite sides of the arm a screw-threaded sleeve member each of which may be fast with the arm or rotatable relatively thereto. Such an arm is shown in section in Fig. 1. The arm A bears a fixed member B and a rotatable member C. Fig. 2 shows two such arms A united by a sleeve D so making a crank bearing. A modification comprises a pulley which is screwed on to or into the sleeve. The sleeves may be externally or internally screw threaded or in some cases, both. Specification 565,947 is referred to.
