[Class 102 (i)] [Also in Group XXIX] In hydraulic mechanism in which angular velocity of a motor 3 or linear velocity of a ram is proportional to movement of a handle 6 controlling flow to the motor &c. e.g., by varying the eccentricity of a rotary piston pump 1, oppositely acting resilient bellows 10, 11 or spring loaded plungers in the transmission from handle 6 are respectively loaded by pressure on opposite sides of the motor whereby variations in the pressure difference move the flow control member to maintain constant motor velocity for any setting of the handle 6. The handle may alternatively control a throttle valve in a pump bye-pass circuit. If the controlled member has appreciable resistance to movement a servo drive is incorporated between the bellows and member to render the former independent of such resistance.
