Abstract

585,378. Harness for carrying children. HANCOCK. W. A., and HANCOCK, B. A. Oct. 31, 1944, No. 21255. Convention date, Oct. 29, 1943. [Class 141] The sling 6 of a device for carrying a child is connected at one end in an adjustable manner to an anchoring strap 8 by means of slide buckles and fastenings 7. The anchoring strap 8 is secured to the top edge of the body flap 9, an extension of which forms the back support 12, to which is attached the twisted body flap 10 which forms and extension of the other end of the sling. The flexible seat base 11 is of hollow form and is held rigid by means of a shaped plate and padding, both of which may be removed for washing &c.
