[Class 36] A conduit 21 carrying several spaced conductors 26 has plug and socket connection caps 23, 22 at its ends, at least one cap being removably secured to the conduit. Each conduit consists of a wood body, which may be impregnated and has grooves for the conductors which may have sleeves of impregnated woven glass, the grooves being closed by a back plate 27 of wood, vulcanized fibre, etc. The ends of the conduit carry moulded synthetic resin caps secured by screws, cap 22 projecting into cap 23 and having a separate base member 33.
