583,658. Thermal switches; indicators. FAIRWEATHER, W: C. (Singer Manufacturing Co.). Nov. 14, 1944, No. 22435. [Class 38 (v)] A thermal motor-protective switch comprises a base 12 having terminals 15, 17 normally bridged by a snap-acting bimetallic disc 18. A translucent resetting push-button 22 houses a glow lamp 26, the electrodes 27 of which are connected to conductors 29 which have circumferential parts 30 sliding on resistors 31 connected to the terminals 15, 17, whereby the lamp lights when the switch is opened. A resistance wire 38 connected between terminals 15, 16 heats the disc.
