[Class 39 (i)] In the manufacture of a transparent photosensitive mosaic electrode for a television pickup or transmitting tube, comprising a mica support coated on one side with a sensitized silver mosaic and on the other side with a conductive signal layer, the latter is formed by heating one or more evaporators of platinum or tungsten located between the mica support and the envelope window after all the thermal operations involved in the evacuation of the envelope, activation of the cathode and sensitization of the cathode, have been completed.
