Abstract

Articles of jewellery are made of an alloy consisting of 0.5-15 per cent. of molybdenum and the balance palladium. Alloys containing 3 per cent. and 5 per cent. of molybdenum are referred to. Up to 1 per cent. of other platinum group metals or copper or nickel may also be included in the alloy.
