Abstract

An alloy containing 56-60 per cent by weight of copper and 44-40 per cent by weight of titanium is used as a solder for joining ceramics, which have not previously been metallized, to ceramics or metals. The preferred percentage ratios are 58 per cent copper and 42 per cent titanium.
