[Classes 52 (i) and 52 (iii)] In sheet-metal furniture built from standardized parts there are provided for the front and back of the article rectangular frames of rectangular-sectioned tubing' 5 panelled with thin sheet metal 7 these frames being connected by flanged plates 8 secured by selftapping screws or rivets passing into the rectangular tubing. In the cabinet shown there is provided a lined top 23 with a stainless metal beading 20 and the storage space is enclosed by standard sized doors to suit requirements. Drawers 27 of welded metal may be incorporated carried by fibre rollers on channel plates and a draw-out table 32 runs at its edges in felt-lined channels and is centrally supported by a frame 35 running on wheels 36. The wall elements may be double panelled and lagged with heat-insulating material and the doors are backed with plywood, preferably corrugated on its rear face and covered by a similarly corrugated metal sheet. The panels are secured to the tubular frames by the manufacturer and the various elements can be packed flat for dispatch and assembled in situ, distinctive screws being used for manufacture and assembly.
