578,976. Gramophone record changing mechanism. INDUSTRIAKTIEBOLAGET LUXOR. June 9, 1944, No. 11060. Convention date, June 21, 1943. Addition to 552,546. [Class 40 (ii)] In a record changing mechanism as described in the parent Specification in which the lowermost record of a pile resting on the shoulder of a fixed supporting spindle 1, 2 is displaced by a feed member associated with an inner rotatable spindle 4, for the purpose of minimising wear on the centre hole of the records, the feed member acts through a roller 35, Fig. 1, or a slide 38, Fig. 3. In the latter case the spindle slide 38 is loosely mounted on an eccentric pin 5 in the spindle 4 and moves in a slot 39 in the fixed spindle 1, 2. To prevent unintentional movement of the slide, it carries a rod 40 with a bent end engaging a slot 42 in the spindle part 1.
