577,964. Delivering measured quantities. DIXON, E. K. PORTMAN-. Nov. 8, 1944, No. 21959. [Class 106 (v)] Means for delivering measured quantities of liquid, e.g. milk, comprises a receptacle fitted on the open top of a tea or coffee pot and fitted with a measuring chamber communicating with the receptacle and controlled by gravityoperated valves. The measuring chamber 5 is disposed diametrically in the base of the receptacle 1 and slopes backwards towards the handle of the pot &c., in the mouth of which the receptacle fits. The measuring chamber is open to the receptacle by aperture 9 and to the pot through aperture 8 and is divided by a double-sided valve seating 12, against which rests either sphere 13 or 14. Capacity may be altered by means of a knurled screw plug 16 at the rear of the chamber.:
