[Class 108 (ii)] A steerable turntable for a vehicle consists of a central member A adapted to engage the kingpin, to which member are attached four arms B in cruciform formation, the outer ends of the arms having brackets for attachment to the vehicle springs. The arms may be of boxsection, preferably formed by welding together two channel - section metal pressings, or they may be tubular, of oval, circular, or other section and they may taper outwards as shown. At the junction of the arms with the member A, reinforcing plates D, D<1> may be welded. Sockets E for the attachment of a tow-bar may be provided on two of the arms.
