[Class 69 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXVI and XXVIII] In an inwardly-acting revolving cylinder hydraulic motor comprising radiallyarranged cylinders 7, Fig. 2, 'rotating about a stationary valve member 27 and reciprocating pistons 3 actuated by an eccentric track, the wearing surfaces of the cylinders are provided with individual exchangeable liners 8 having a non- interference fit therein, and the pistons are actuated by slippers 5 arranged to be independent of accurate alignment of the cylinders in the cylinder block. Flanges 9 on the liners 8 may be secured against a shoulder 10 of the cylinder block by pressing in axial direction ; by means of a threaded sleeve engaging the upper surface of the flange by being screwed directly into the cylinder block ; or conical end surfaces 13, Fig. 8, on the liners may be engaged by corresponding inturned surfaces 15 on a pair of annular plates 14 bolted together. An elastic sealing member may be interposed between the base of the liner and the surface 10. The cylinder bases continue through a liner 6 fitting loosely in the cylinder block and secured to rotate therewith by a screw cap 25 abutting a shoulder 26 on the liner. The pistons 3 may have spherical ends engaging similar recesses in the slippers 5 to provide self-aligning connections therebetween, or balls may be interposed between recesses in the piston and slipper. As shown in Fig. 12, a clip 22 secures a spherical head 21 on the piston 3 in a recess 19 in the slipper 5, and a pin 23 prevents angular motion of the slipper about the cylinder axis. The pin may be fixed to the cylinder block.
