[Classes 18, 66, 94 (ii) and 125 (iii)] A rigid paper, or the like container 10 is formed as a frusto-conical tube, a closure member 11, which may be perforated, inserted in the top and the top of the container and its closure deformed into the shape shown, by a die. The container is formed by winding a sheet of paper around a conical mandrel, and closed at the bottom by a disc 15 which is forced into a groove 10a. A cap may be fitted to the upper part of the container and may be formed of paper or plastic material. The outside of the container may be coated with enamel paint or the like, or covered by varnished paper.
