572,841. Humidifiers: BAHNSON CO. June 30, 1943, No. 10612. Convention date, June 10, 1942. [Classes 69 (iii) and 135] In cutting off the supply of humidifying liquid when the gaseous pressure falls to a low value, the seat of the liquid valve 23 is mounted in flexible diaphragms 26, 27 ; 26 being subject to downward pressure of air or steam entering through 12, and 27 being subject to the pressure of humidifying liquid entering at 151. The assembly permits of substitution of various sized diaphragms selected to operate at the desired differential pressures. The liquid entering at 151 passes through passage 16, valve 23 and nozzle to a chamber 33, where it mixes with steam or air passing from inlet 11 up spaces between the hexagonal cap 20 and the circular bore in the spray body 10. Filters are provided at 28 and 12.
