[Class 6 (i)] Seeds, powders, and like materials are fed from a hopper by a rotor g having one or more blades h and a brush j, the axes of the rotor and brush being at right angles to each other, and so positioned that the brush bristles sweep the rotor blades in passing. A mask m carried by the shaft k and angularly adjustable by a lever n may limit the area of exposure of the rotor g to the powder in the hopper.
