Abstract
570,615. Plate heat-exchangers. DUNN, A. W. and IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Sept. 6, 1940, No. 13956. [Class 64 (iii)] In a radiator with corrugated sheets 5 forming air-ways between and at right angles to flat-sided water-ways 4, the width of the water-ways is 1/16 in. and their pitch in., and the pitch of the air-ways is 1/10 in. The depth of the radiator is 9 in. Corrugated plates 14 in the water-ways may be continuous instead of being formed in spaced sections, and each air-way may contain two currugated sheets, one on each side of a plane sheet.
