[Class 131] An envelope of textile material to contain chemical heating composition to conistitute a sachet for permanent waving of the hair has secured at one side of its outside a sheet of aluminium foil and outside the aluminium foil, a sheet of waxed paper or like material to retain the generated heat within the sachet. As shown, the doubled textile strip a, a<1> forms an envelope to enclose the heating element, being backed at a<1> by a sheet of aluminium foil c and outside the foil a sheet of waxed paper d. On the inside of the textile a is placed a sheet of aluminium foil or absorbent paper b which may be perforated to facilitate access of the chemical solution in which the sachet is immersed to bring about activation of the heating element. The parts are held in place by stitching e.
