Abstract
566,418. Tradesmen's retailing vehicles. MICKLEOVER TRANSPORT, Ltd., and POCOCK, P. V. June 22, 1943, No. 10069. [Class 108 (i)] A horse-drawn delivery vehicle with a body, supported at the front on an axle by a bogie and at the rear on a fixed axle and comprising front and rear box-like compartments, has a central framework coupling the two compartments and affording a throughway across the vehicle open at both sides with its floor 15 sunk below the level of the front compartment floor so as to be a convenient stepping distance above the ground and being an entity separate from the floor of the rear compartment and sunk below the level of the latter. Clear forward and rearward views are afforded to a driver standing in the throughway.
