[Class 140] A substitute for timber boards comprises two or more layers 1, 2, 3 of plaster or similar building board united by adhesive, edged with an adhesively secured strip of wood 7 and having top and bottom adhesively secured coverings of wood veneer 9, 10 extending over the timber front 7. Additional layers of wood veneer may be provided between the layers of building board. The building board may comprise a core of gypsum plaster between paper sheets, or may be made from pressed wood pulp, cardboard, cork, or waste sugar cane fibre. U.S.A.
