564,185. Non-contact-making relays. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAGET. June 15, 1943, No. 9520. Convention date, June 16, 1942. [Class 40 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXVI] in an arrangement for amplifying or reproducing direct current in a circuit 1 by means of a transductor 2, the alternating current of which is rectified by a rectifier 5, the direct current circuit 1 is coupled to the output circuit by a transformer 3 in order to balance out irregularities caused by imperfections in the transductor and rectifier. These irregularities occur mainly when the transductor is saturated, and the transformer 3 should, therefore, not be saturated at such times. To ensure this, an additional winding fed with constant direct current may be provided on the transductor or transformer or both, or the transformer may be constructed by suitable choice of turns or core material or otherwise so that it requires greater current for saturation than does the transductor. The output current is fed to a measuring instrument or control apparatus 6. Specification 558,269 is referred to.
