Abstract

An apparatus for maintaining the intensity on a direct current busbar to a predetermined value within restricted limits comprising means for obtaining a control intensity that is proportional to the direct current intensity using the field associated with the intensity on the busbar to influence an inductor so that when the inductor winding is powered from a constant alternating current voltage source the control current in the inductor will vary proportionally to the variations in intensity in the DC busbar and the means they use the signal intensity thus obtained to control the intensity output of the direct current generator that supplies the busbar.
