563,702. Transformers ; rectifying alternating current. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and FRIEDLANDER, E. May 3, 1943, No. 6979. [Class 38 (ii)] In an arrangement for rectifying threephase A.C. and comprising a rectifier having nine anodes X, each secondary phase of the phasemultiplying transformer is derived from two phases of the three-phase supply as indicated in Fig. 2 so that the D.C. is balanced. Fig. 3 shows the arrangement of the primary and secondary windings W1, W2 and also the winding arrangement of the interphase transformer T.
