[Class 97 (i)] An additional lens system c is arranged in front of an objective e, for the purpose of producing simultaneously, and substantially in the same position f, images of an object at infinite distance and of an.object b at a specific short distance, the additional system c having a relatively long focal length and being arranged so that its rear principal point coincides with the front focal point of the objective. The objective &c. may be a photographic or telescope objective. For kinematography, one such additional lens system or two or more systems of one or more focal lengths, may be mounted in apertures in a glass or metal disc which is rotatable so that one of the additional systems, or an open aperture, is before the camera lens for each exposure. Colour filters may be used in conjunction with the systems. According to.'the Provisional Specification, the diameter of the elements of the additional system may be larger, equal to, or smaller than the diameter of the objective.
