Abstract

560,795. Wheel tyres. MARSTRAND, O. J. Oct. 16, 1942, No. 14494. [Class 144 (ii)] A tyre adapted to prevent shimmy in the castor wheels of aircraft has a deep groove 4 between flat side treads 3 which may be continuous, interrupted or patterned. The groove is at least as wide as the tread portions. The construction may be employed in solid tyres; as shown in Fig. 3. Specification 23668/07, [Class 144], is referred to.
