557,959. Check valves. TRICO PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Dec. 23, 1942, No. 18280. Convention date, Dec, 31, 1941. [Class 135] A check valve comprises a seat disc having a central port 16, Fig. 2, or ports 52, Fig. 6, formed in an annular depression, and a valve disc 14 having a port or ports out of register with the ports or port in the seat. The seat disc is supported around its edge on a flange 13, and a ported cover 18 has a marginal flange engaging the seat disc and of greater depth than the valve disc, a part of the cover adjacent the flange serving to limit the valve lift. The cover is held by a flange on a clamp member, the arms of which are secured by screws 31 or on conduits 57. A loosely mounted filter 38 is provided.
