[Class 129] A beverage is made from leguminous plants, such as alfalfa, clover, lespedeza, pea vines &c., by first drying and crushing to break down the cells, fermenting for from thirty minutes to two days at 65‹-70‹F. heating in an oven at a temperature, such as 280‹F, sufficient to destroy or partly destroy the chlorophyl without charing the organic material, until dry, and striping or boiling in water.
