[Class 22] [Also in Group XXXVII] An insulating barrier particularly for a mercury switch consists of 65 to 75 per cent. fused magnesia, 5 to 20 per cent. of low expansion boro-silicate glass and a complementary proportion of clay. The boro-silicate glass may in addition be applied as a thin coating to the barrier. Specification 454,342, [Group XXXVII], is referred to.
