[Also in Group XL (a)] The glass envelope of a fluorescent discharge lamp has the following composition by weight:- 70.1 per cent SiO 2 , 2.6 per cent Al 2 O 3 , 5.5 per cent CaO, 3.6 per cent MgO, 16.8 per cent Na 2 O, 0.4 per cent K 2 O, 0.8 per cent B 2 O 3 , 0.2 per cent SO 3 .
