552,878. Tunnel kilns. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. Nov. 13, 1942, No. 16054. Convention date, Dec. 4, 1941. Addition to 488,262. [Class 51 (ii)] In a tunnel kiln of the kind described in the parent Specification, uncondensed mineral vapours are removed from the cooling zone 14 of the kiln through a shaft 20 leading to a stack 24. The burners 19 are operated to produce a reducing atmosphere.
