[Class 2 (iii)] [Also in Group XXVI] A rotary gear-wheel pump, for example, as described in Specification 386,105 [Group XXVI], has the pump body, cover plate and other parts that are not unduly stressed moulded from a thermo-setting material with or without reinforcement. Metal bushes are provided for the bearings and moulded-in nuts for the holding screws. The spindle bearings are provided in the cover by recesses that do not pass right through and any accumulation of pressure fluid in these bearing pockets is relieved by a non-return valve and a port communicating with the low pressure side of the pump.
