Convention date, April 1, 1940, [Class 38 (v)] [Also in Group XXXVI] An.arrangement for indicating or protecting against insulation leakages in electric trolleybuses comprises a self-locking trip relay 10 which is connected between the chassis 11 and a point on the starting and braking resistance 7 by means of a switch 8 which, together with a switch 6, is closed by depressing the brake pedal. Operation of the latter, which first produces electrical braking and then mechanical braking, opens also the contactors 3, 4, which, if there is a fault, so that motor 5 generates a current through the relay 10 are held open by operation of the relay until the latter is manually reset. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 included also the subject-matter of Specification 547,787, [Group XXXVI], Fig. 2 (Cancelled) (not shown). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
