Abstract
545,071. Lubricators. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA KULLAGERFABRIKEN. June 25, 1941, Nos. 8005 and 8006. Convention dates, June 26, 1940 and Feb. 4, 1941. [Class 12 (iii)] An air-line lubricator has a lubricant container with an upper part forming a part of the pressure-air line beyond the point of introduction of the lubricant, this upper part constituting a chamber in which superfluous lubricant is deposited, conduits leading from the chamber to the lubrication points. The lubricant is forced into the air stream by an injector. The glass container 31 is secured by a castiron cage 32 to a lid 33 .having a filling- plug, leather or cork packing 52 and a fibre cushion 53 being provided. The inlet and outlet 35, 49 are interchangeable. The tubes 37, 43 are secured into the lid 33 and screwed into a housing 38 having an injector 42, the tube 43 carrying the washer 46 being adjustable in the housing to vary the supply of lubricant. The air stream passes from tube 43 through apertures 47 into the upper part of the container before entering the outlet. The lid 33 has two ears 57 for mounting the device on a wall, &c.
