Gn each producing a rectangular waveform and so arranged that the rear slope of the wave produced by one oscillator initiates the operation of the following oscillator. The oscillators successively render amplifiers A 1 ... An operative and may be used for multiplex telephony or for applying several curves to a cathode-ray tube. The oscillator couplings 2 may be capacitive or inductive and may include a detecting device. Pulse voltages from the oscillators may be applied to the modulating electrode of the cathode-ray tube so that the ray is cut off during vertical traces and to prevent a trace forming of the no voltage condition arising between pulses.
