541,134. Conveyers. HIRST, E. W., and JONES, E. Aug. 29, 1940, No. 13596. [Class 78 (i)] In conveyers, particularly for textile material, of the type in which transverse wooden laths a are secured to endless flexible bands b, the teeth c of the driving sprockets engage spaces between 'laths formed by extending some of the laths beyond the others, as at a<SP>1</SP>, the sprockets and bands being so arranged that lateral movement is prevented. Metal caps on the ends of the laths may be provided to prevent wear. Channel section steel laths may be used.
