[Class 61 (ii)] A device for separating flanged pipes &c. comprises an operating screw 10 with a conical end 14 adapted to force its way between the flanges F and working through a tapped hole in a cylindrical nut member on the opposite ends of which are pivoted two hook jaws 40 with ends 42 adapted to engage holes B in the flanges, the jaws being cranked in opposite directions so that the ends 42 are located directly opposite one another.
