[Class 39 (iii)] An electric stove for use on a table comprises a rectangular sheet metal casing 1 with a circular aperture 2 through which is exposed the heating element consisting of wire coils mounted on a refractory box 4. A heat-intercepting metal plate 5 is attached by metal strips 6 to the bottom 7 of the casing. The base 4 is supported by and spaced from the plate 5 by lugs 8. The casing is supported by feet 11 which also secure the bottom 7 in the casing. The feet may be of wood and may be insulated from the bottom 7 by asbestos washers.
