[Class 21] The invention relates to a device for automatically cutting off the supply of liquid through a filling-device in a tank &c. when a predetermined level is reached, of the type in which the action of an injector 16, 17, 18 is modified by the advent of liquid to the level 24a so that it creates suction in a chamber 6 and moves a diaphragm 5, a rod 12 and a pivoted lever 9 so that a lever 7 permits the supply valve 3 to close under the action of its spring 4. This known type is modified in that an inlet tube 21 of large diameter is provided so that excess pressure in the liquid supply opens valve 22 and permits rapid filling. Alternative embodiments are described.
