535,403. Rubber goods. INTERNATIONAL LATEX PROCESSES, Ltd., TWISS, D. F., and AMPHLETT, P. H. Nov. 20, 1939, No. 30419. [Class 70] Goods are obtained from aqueous dispersions of rubber or similar material containing zinc oxide by incorporating in the dispersions without coagulation an ionizable zinc salt giving a greater concentration of zinc ions in water than does zinc oxide and coagulating by lowering the pH value by means of an acid or a substance capable of generating an acid in the dispersion. Examples of suitable salts are zinc ammonium phosphate and zinc sulphite. Ammonium persulphate or silicofluorides may be used to lower the pH value. Specifications 290,313 and 219,635, [both in Class 70], are referred to.
