Abstract

Aqueous dispersions of rubber, particularly foamed dispersions, are caused to gel by addition of an aqueous suspension of sodium or other silicofluoride, the pH value of which has been increased to at least 5 by solution therein of a substance liberating fluorine ions, such as sodium fluoride. Specifications 326,210 and 332,525, [both in Class 70], are referred to.
